Business & Hobbies comes to The Sims 4
“Motherlode season” is upon us! The Sims 4 announced the next expansion pack on Feb. 5 with the official roadmap leading up to May.
Businesses & Hobbies is the name of the new expansion and the first for 2025.
The pack releases on March 6 with the first look on Feb. 6 and the deep dive on Feb. 18.
The Sims gave a sneak peek of the trailer during the 25-hour Birthday Livestream on Feb 4 and later released on X (formally Twitter). You could see a sim lying face down and suddenly jumping up. The walls were lined with tattoo photos and the sim's position appears that they were getting a tattoo.
If the image is true, then this is a return of the tattoo shop. The Sims 3 had a tattoo career along with a "hobbies" pack with The Sims 3 Ambitions.
The Sims also announced 3 kits: Restoration Workshop, Golden Years, and Kitchen Clutter for May 5.
Looking more closely at the recent tweet, images of pottery, a pen, and more resemble a job board where you could see different jobs and contact information.
Other images like a rose "tattoo," shop building on the bottom left, a sim in an awesome yellowish blazer in the upper right, a stack of simoleons below it, sims looking at a telescope on the bottom right, and an elder sim on the left add to the image.
The elder sim may be a nod to the Golden Years that is coming. There is also mention of the Kitchen Clutter right under the Kit tile.
The image also has a mystery eye emoji listed for Feb. 25.
