Turning The Sims 4 into a farming simulator. Stardew Valley but in The Sims 4!
Hey Boo! This is my first Sims 4 challenge! Simple Living! For some reason, I really wanted a challenge where I could just be on a homestead. So here we are.
Main Goal: Create a functional homestead for your Sim!
Everyone starts off on the same lot. If you do the challenge, tag me! I would LOVE to see your lots on the gallery! #itsmetroi #itsmetroiSimpleLiving
Save Setup
NOT ALLOWED: Enchanted by Nature. Disallow the pack from the menu! (Start a new Sims 4 game folder if it's easier)
Brand New Save
Download the starter lot from the itsmeTroi on the gallery
Add "Simple Living" lot trait
Add Wild Foxes' Lot Challenge
Start with 1,200 Simoleons
Optional: Download the "Even Longer Seasons" mod. Choose either duration. Troi chose 42.
Sim Setup
Create your sim however you want. Choose whatever clothes. Just make sure to have those two traits. You can use mods like "more traits in CAS" from PandaSama and MizoreYukii!
Add " Loves trait outdoors" to Sim
Add Rancher trait
OVERALL RULES
Rule 1: No careers from the job panel.
Business & Hobbies pack jobs are fine AFTER SPRING SEASON!
Rule 2: No Stealing
Rule 3: No money cheats. NO UI CHEATS
Rule 4: NO Build Cheats (bb.moveobjects is OK)
Rule 5: ONLY sell from "selling table OR Vendors" until $1000 in SALES
Rule 6: No Ranch Hands
RULE 8: Do "Townie Missions" once a week
Rule 9: Can't touch the starter home shell. Can change flooring, wallpaper, and add internal and external rooms.
Spring Objectives
Spring 1: Reach 1k in Sales (Expand List for rewards)
Sell all junk furniture, replace walls, buy a door,
Spring 2: Reach 15,000 in household funds (Expand List for rewards)
Replace wallpaper
Replace flooring
Fill water holes
Spring 3: Start a garden
Spring 4: Get new furniture (bed, tables, chairs, etc)
Spring 5: If you have the Restoration kit, Restore Fridge/Stove!
If you don't have the kit, buy and new fridge or stove
Once the House is restored, you can now purchase livestock.

LIFETIME GOALS OF THE CHALLENGE
A self-sustaining homestead. Including horses, chickens, and other farm animals.
Goal 1: Have 500K in household funds
Goal 2: Max Skills: Gardening, Handiness, Fishing, Baking, Nectar Making
Goal 3: WIN a Fenwich Fair Prize!
Goal 4: Die of OLD age. (If you die young, you lose!)
Goal 5: Complete the gardening tab in the notebook
