Paralives Teases Exciting New Features Ahead of Early Access

From adaptive furniture to a unique art style, here are the standout elements that have me hyped for the upcoming life sim.
Paralives, the upcoming life simulation game, continues to make steady progress in its development. While early access is still a few months away, the developers have shared several sneak peeks of features players can look forward to. Here are five that caught my eye.
Adaptive Clothesline
Some might find laundry boring, but I voted for it when The Sims 4 ran a survey on new features. That’s how we ended up with Laundry Day. So the fact that Paralives has this cool, adaptive clothesline is awesome; it reshapes itself based on the placement points, which means it looks like you can put it pretty much anywhere.

Color Swatches
Paralives revealed they’ve got close to 1,000 items with premade swatch colors. That’s a lot! But it wasn’t just the colors that caught my eye in the video below. I also spotted a bunch of the objects that’ll be in the game. Take a look for yourself!
Adaptive windows & blinds
Just like the clothesline, Paralives also has adaptive windows and blinds. It’s awesome that we don’t have to hunt for the right widths to fit walls. We can simply adjust them to fit perfectly.
Modular Couch System
Modular couches might not sound like a big deal, but the system that lets you essentially build and customize your perfect couch setup is a dream for builders.
Art Style
You either love or hate the art style of Paralives. The overall vibe is very artistic, with bold black outlines and a stylized look. That’s part of the game’s charm. It’s easy on the eyes and simple, yet striking.
